Grist Earthmoving was established by Mr. Frank Grist in 1985 and has been involved
in all facets of earthmoving over the last twenty-two years.
The company specialises in agricultural, forestry, aquaculture and extractive industries. Past experience includes construction of earth dams, farm and forestry access roads, fire prevention and maintenance roads / tracks, stabilization and construction of
natural water course crossings, bed forming of forest plantations and extraction of
quarry products for construction materials.
The company has a fleet of modern equipment, maintained to provide a level of
service to clients that limit breakdowns whilst completing projects to pre-determined finishing dates. Currently the fleet includes three crawler dozers from 320 HP down
to 190 HP, three excavators from 25 ton to 21 ton, 300 HP plus articulated
agricultural tractors along with numerous attachments to meet the various fields of
work we undertake.
The company has it's own transport division which enables us to provide equipment to be placed at the required site without the need to rely on contractors outside the company to meet our needs.
Our operators are kept up to date with the latest in OH & S practices and with site
safety procedures with in house meetings to cover any concerns that each project or
site may bring to our attention.
The company has insurance policies in place for indemnities, plant and personal.
